You can
put this solution on YOUR website!
Sin 2x = Cos 2x + 1
2 Sin x Cos x = Cos 2x + 1
2 Sin x Cos x = Cos^2 x – Sin^2 x + Cos^2 x + Sin^2 x
2 Sin x Cos x = 2 Cos^2 x
Cancel out the 2 Cos x (giving solutions for Cos x = 0 are 90 and 270)
Sin x = Cos x gives solutions 45 and 225
Therefore the solutions are 45, 90, 225 and 270 degrees.
