Note: recall that a "term" is simply coefficient multiplied by a variable expression. So 2x, 3xy%5E2, and -11yz%5E3 are all separate "terms".


For -13x there's only one term here, so this means that -13x is a monomial (monomial - one term, think of monorail)



Looking at -4xyz, there's only one term also, so this means that -4xyz is a monomial.


Finally, 4c%5E6 also is one complete term. So 4c%5E6 is a monomial.
