Via Slope-Intercept Form,system%28y=mx%2Bb%29

x-6=2y ---> 2y=x-6
Divide by 2 both terms:
cross%282%29y%2Fcross%282%29=%28x-6%29%2F2=%281%2F2%29x-6%2F2=%281%2F2%29x-3
red%28y=%281%2F2%29x-3%29

Let Fy=0:
Going back to given eqn:
x-2(0)=6
highlight%28x=6%29, X-Intercept

Let Fx=0:
0-2%28y%29=6, divide both terms by -2:
cross%28-2%29y%2Fcross%28-2%29=cross%286%293%2Fcross%28-2%291
y=3%2F-1=highlight%28-3%29, Y-Intercept
