You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Let w = width of court
then
x+13 = length of court
.
We know the equation for perimeter is:
2(width + length) = perimeter
2(w + x+13) = 86
2(2w+13) = 86
2w+13 = 43
2w = 30
w = 15 meters (width)
.
Length:
x+13 = 15+13 = 28 meters (length)
