x%2By=8x3 ==> 3x%2B3y+=24

then subtract from red%28EQN1%29, we get

3x%2B2y=23
-3x-3y=-24
------------------
-y=-1 ---> red%28y=1%29, subst. in red%28EQN2%29

x=8-1=red%287%29


Then, the 2 lines intersect at point (7,1)
