You can put this solution on YOUR website!
2 + squareroot(2-x) = x
------------------
Step 1 - isolate the radical.
sqrt%282-x%29+=+x-2
Then square both sides. This eliminates the radical.
%282-x%29+=+x%5E2+-+4x+%2B+4
x%5E2+-+3x+%2B+2+=+0
(x-1)*(x-2) = 0
x = 1
x = 2
----------
2 works.
The 1 is an extraneous solution, ignore it.
