You can put this solution on YOUR website!

We have two people that I will call person A and person B.
Because they are riding toward each other, times equal total distance given.
Person A:
time on bike = 4 hours
speed = x
distance = 80 miles
=====================
Person B:
time on bike = 4 hours
speed = (1.5 + x)
distance = 80 miles
=======================
4x + 4(1.5 + x) = 80 miles
Can you solve for x now?
When you find the answer for x, you will know the speed of Person A.
To find the speed of Person B, replace x in the expression (1.5 + x) with the value you find for x.
Understand?
