Question 189176: "Six times the sum of a number and -15 is 76 more than four times the number. Find the number."
I'm not sure how to solve this, I think the equation for it might be (-15+x)6=(x)4+76. But I'm not sure and even if it is I'm still confused on how to solve it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can put this solution on YOUR website! The equation is correct.
--------
(-15+x)6=(x)4+76
-90 + 6x = 4x + 76
2x = 166
x = 83
