It would make sense to do a search online for this information.
I can give you a list of jobs where rational expressions are used in real-life but you have to do your online search to find the rest of the data.
If I had to make 2 choices, I would say that rational expressions are used:
1-at NASA by scientists
2-Any job dealing with economics like Stocks and Bonds and the trading business.
Also, any job having to do with engineering or architecture would most likely have a lot to do with rational expressions.
