First, we combine similar terms. Put to the left those with variable (With x), and to the right those constants.
*Remember to change "signs" when you move.
Given: 10x + 9 = 5x +29
Perform operations indicated:
Divide both terms by "5" to isolate x:
x=4, Answer
To check, substitute x to the given eqn:
