You can put this solution on YOUR website!

Remember, since Kim can mow the greens 2 times faster than you are, so the amount of time you mow is double that of Kim.

Let Kim= x hours
I = 2x hours

Kim + I = 4 hours
1%2Fx+%2B+1%2F%282x%29+=1%2F4
%282%2B1%29%2F2x=1%2F4,
3%2F2x=1%2F4, cross multiply
3%2A4=2x%2A1} ---> 12=2x ---->cross%2812%296%2Fcross%282%29=cross%282%29x%2Fcross%282%29
x=6 hours Kim
2x=2*6=12 hours Alone (Answer)

Check, 1%2F6+%2B+1%2F12+=+1%2F4
%282%2B1%29%2F12=1%2F4
3%2F12=1%2F4
1%2F4=1%2F4

Thank you,
Jojo

A comment on the other solution:
2 times as fast is not the same as 2 times faster.
