Question 188305: "Which expression represents an example of the distributive property?"
a) 2(x+3)=2x+5
b) 2(x+3)=2x+6
c) 2(x+3)=2x+23
d) 2(x+3)=2x+3
I'm not sure which one it is, I was thinking b or d. But I'm not 100% sure on any of them. Please help if you can.
Thank you

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Distributive Property : a(b+c)= a.b+a.c,
With this in mind,
Consider the equation 2(x+3),
when using the property formula we can write the equation 2(x+3) as 2.x+ 2.3 which equals to 2x+6
Hence 2(x+3)= 2x+6.
