You can put this solution on YOUR website!
I was told to simplify this equation but am not quite sure what to do or how much can be simplified.
3x^2 – x[4 – 3(x – 4)]
Eliminate parentheses 1st
= 3x^2 - x[4 -3x + 12]
Brackets are same as parentheses
= 3x^2 -x(16 - 3x)
= 3x^2 - 16x + 3x^2
= 6x^2 - 16x
It's simpler.
