Please help me!!!! some examples are { Find the slope of the line that passess through each pair of points. A(-10,6), B(-5,8). I think tha i'm sussposed to put it into a fraction... but im not sure?!?!?!?!? If you understand what is Private tutoring??
 Thank you soooooooooo much

You can put this solution on YOUR website! I need help with finding the slope because in math class today my teacher went over it and about rise and run, but i mostly forgot!!!!! Please help me!!!! some examples are { Find the slope of the line that passess through each pair of points. A(-10,6), B(-5,8). I think tha i'm sussposed to put it into a fraction... but im not sure?!?!?!?!? If you understand what is Private tutoring?? ---------------------------
It's sometimes called rise over run, the "rise" being the change in vertical, the y-axis, and "run" the change in horizontal, x-axis, between the 2 points.
 --------------------------------------------------
For your example, find the rise by subtracting the y value of one point from the y value of the other.
 diff in y = 8-6 = 2
 diff in x = -5 - (-10) = +5
 The slope is 2/5
 ------------
That's all it is. It's a fraction for this one, but it can be an integer, and it can be negative. m is usually used for slope.
