You can put this solution on YOUR website!
a) Find the area of a trapezoid with a height of 9 m and bases of 7 m and 25 m
Area = (1/2)h(b1 + b2)
Area = (1/2)*9*(7+25) = (1/2)*9*32 = 16*9 = 144 sq meters
------------------------------------------------------------------
b) Find the perimeter of a parallelogram with sides measuring 6.5 m and 3.5 m
Perimeter = 2(length + width)
P = 2(6.5+2.5)
P = 2(9) = 18 meters
