You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Solve the inequality for x:
7%28x-2%29%3C-5 First, divide both sides by 7.
cross%287%29%28x-2%29%2Fcross%287%29+%3C+-5%2F7 Cancel the 7's on the left as indicated.
x-2%3C%28-5%2F7%29 Now add 2 to both sides.
x%2Ahighlight%28-2%2B2%29+%3C+2-%285%2F7%29 (-2+2 = 0)
x%3C2-%285%2F7%29 Simplify the right side. Substitute 2+=+14%2F7
x%3C%2814%2F7%29-%285%2F7%29
highlight%28x+%3C+9%2F7%29
