You can put this solution on YOUR website! 2x(x/2) – 2x(x) + 2x(2/x) – 5(2x) = 0
x2 - 2x2 + 4 – 10x = 0; - x2 – 10x +4 =0
multiplying with – 1 we get x2 + 10x - 4 = 0
comparing with the general quadratic equation ax2+bx+c=0
we have a = 1 , b = 10 , c = - 4
x = (- 10 +√(100+16)/2 or (- 10 - √(100+16)/2
= - 5 + √29 and - 5 - √29
