You can put this solution on YOUR website!

Remember our Eqn---->Speed=Distance%2Fhighlight%28time%29-->S=D%2Ft
We're looking for the highlighted one above.
.
After 2 hours as the Jet leaves the airport, we want to know at what distance is the airplane now:
D%5Ba%5D=S%5Ba%5D%2At=192%2A2=384km
Then the Jet flies when the airplane is at 384 km away.
At this time, D%5Ba%5D=D%5Bj%5D because they're flying on the same direction.
*But to remember to add 384km to the plane.
So, D%5Ba%5D=D%5Bj%5D
t%28192km%2Fhr%29%2B384km=t%28960km%2Fhr%29
384=t%28960-192%29%28km%2Fhr%29
384=t%28768km%2Fhr%29--->cross%28768%29t%2Fcross%28768%29=384%2F768
highlight%28t=0.50hr%29, OR 30 minutes
AT this time, both airplane and jet will be on the same DISTANCE.
Check, D%5Ba%5D=192%2A0.50%2B384=480km
D%5Bj%5D=960%280.50%29=480km
Therefore, after 0.50hr, the jet will overtake the plane.
Thank you,
