You can put this solution on YOUR website!
2.45x+2.30(30-x)=2.35*30
2.45+69-2.3x=70.5
.15x=70.5-69
.15x=1.5
x=15/.15
x=10 lbs. of $2.45 candy is used.
30-10=20 lbs. of $2.30 candy is used.
Proof:
2.45*10+2.30(30-10)=2.35*30
24.5+2.3*20=70.5
24.5+46=70.5
70.5=70.5
