You can put this solution on YOUR website! Perimeter=160 = 2L+2W........eq 1
:
(1/4)L=2(W)........eq 2
:
rewrite eq 2 to L=4*2*W=8W....multiplied both sides by 4

now take L's value of 8W and plug that into eq 1
:
2(8W)+2W=160
:
18W=160
:

L=8(8.89)=
:
2(71.12)+2(8.89)=142.2+17.78=159.98...rounding off caused us to be off a little
