Let x=measure of one angle
Then 3x+10 [ten degrees more than three times the other]=measure of the other angle

IF the angles are supplementary, then:
:: x+(3x+10)=180
:: 4x+10=180
:: 4x=170
:: x=170/4=42.5o. The other angle is 180-42.5=137.5o
