An aptitude test has a mean of 220 and standard deviation of 10. find the corresponding z score for: a) a test score of 232 b) a test score of 212
Help please?????

The formula for a z-score for a test score of x
with mean mu and standard deviation sigma
is

z=%28x-mu%29%2Fsigma

So for

a) a test score of 232

z=%28x-mu%29%2Fsigma

z=%28232-220%29%2F10

z=%2812%29%2F10

z=1.2

and for

b) a test score of 212

z=%28x-mu%29%2Fsigma

z=%28212-220%29%2F10

z=%28-8%29%2F10

z=-.8
