x-2*-3=-5
x+6=-5
x=-5-6
x=-11 (-11,-3)
-9-2y=-5
-2y=-5+9
-2y=4
y=4/-2
y=-2 (-9,-2)
The line equation is:
-2y=-x-5
y=-x/-2-5/-2
y=x/2+5/2
 (graph 400x400 pixels, x from -12 to 5, y from -10 to 10, x/2 +5/2x).

x-2y=-5;( ,-3),(-9, )
plug in -3 for y and solve for x
x - 2*(-3) = -5
x + 6 = -5
x = -11
(-11,-3)
Second point,
plug in -9 for x and solve for y
-9 - 2y = -5
-2y = 4
y = -2
