So, in 6x-2y=6 find what x is when y = 0, and what y is when x = 0.
6x-2y=6
@x=0: -2y=6
y = -3
That's the point (0,-3), the y-intercept.

@y=0: 6x=6
x = 1
That's the point (1,0), the x-intercept.
