You can put this solution on YOUR website! List of numbers (of the set of numbers from 1 to 49) that are greater than 45: 46, 47, 48, 49. There are 4 numbers that are greater than 45
Since there are 49 numbers total, this means that the probability is:
P(x>45) = 4/49 = 0.0816
So the probability of selecting a ball that has a number greater than 45 is 0.0816 or 8.16%
