You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Avg rate change = ( f(x2)-f(x1) )/( x2 - x1)

Avg rate change = ( f(-1)-f(-4) )/( -2 + 4 )

Avg rate change = ( 1-4 )/( 2 )

Avg rate change = ( -3 )/( 2 )

Avg rate change = -3 / 2
