Find the missing length in the similar triangles.
1 triangles has sides of 3,5,4 and the other is 15, 12, x.
How do you come up with a formula for x and how do you solve it.

you solve by using a scale factor of 1/3
15 to 5= 1/3
12 to 4= 1/3
9 to 3= 1/3
