You can put this solution on YOUR website!
lines that are parallel have the same slope
:
y=mx+b......m is the slope and b is the y intercept
:
any equation that you write that has a slope of 3 will satisfy the conditions except for the same line
:
for instance y=3x+5 or y=3x-6.......etc

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Give the equations of three lines that are parallel to the line with equation y=3x+2.
-----------------
The "3" in the equation is the slope.
All lines parallel to y = 3x+2 must have the same slope.
---------------------------------
Three such equations are:
y = 3x + 4
y = 3x - 2
y = 3x + (1/3)
