Question 182326: hi!
i need help with this problem.
"determine the equation of the line described. Put answer in the slope-intercept form, if possible. Through(6,-8), perpendicular to x=7"
I understand that the slope is zero in this equation, i just dont understand how to put in slope-intercept form
Thank you for your time

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
so we know that the line x=7 is vertical and the line perpendicular to it will be horizontal and take the form y=a with a zero slope
:
use the point slope formula
:
y+8=0(x-6)
:
y+8=0
:
highlight%28y=-8%29
