You can put this solution on YOUR website! 3{[7(x-2)+4]-[2(2x-5)+6]}
----------------
The parentheses come in pairs; each open parentheses must have a close
parentheses associated with it, Brackets come in pairs and parentheses
come in pairs. They are equal in their meaning.
-----------------------------------------------------
3{[7(x-2)+4]-[2(2x-5)+6]}
Rule: work from the inside out.
= 3{[7x-14+4]-[4x-10+6]}
= 3{[7x-10] - [4x-4]}
= 21x - 30 -4x + 4
= 17x - 26
