Modify:
(t-5)^2 = -2(t-5)
(t-5)^2 + 2(t-5) = 0
Factor:
(t-5)(t-5+2) = 0
(t-5)(t-3) = 0
t = 5 or t = 3

(y+1)(y^2-4y-21)
(y+1)(y-7)(y+3)
