You can put this solution on YOUR website! Find the slope of the line passing through the pair points or state that the slope is undefined.
1) (6,8) and (4,9)
Can you use determinants? Or do this one the hard way?

----------------
Find the slope of the line.
1) y=-2/5x-7
This is in slope-intercept form already, y = mx+b.
The slope,m, is -2
-----------------
Find the y-intercept.
1) y=-6x
This is also in slope-intercept form, it's y = -6x + 0, so the y-intercept is 0, or the origin (0,0).
