8% is 8/100=.08
5% is 5/100=.05
:
.08(.05)=.004

All you have to do is multiply 8% and 5%
.08%2A.05+=+.004, or .4 %
If you do a simpler one, like
50% of 50% of 50%, you get
.5%2A.5%2A.5+=+.125, or 12.5 %
