let x be the flat fee and y be the additional fee
:
x+4y=63.........eq 1
x+6y=87.........eq 2
:
subtract all terms from eq 2 from eq 1
:
x terms will be eliminated because x-x=0. We are left with 4y-6y=63-87
:
-2y=-24

take y's found value and plug it into either eq 1 or 2
