You can put this solution on YOUR website!
lol.....ok, my friend I can see where you might be lost. This is what they are after: take the expression:+%2816x%5E5%2B8x%5E4%2B24x%5E3%29 and divide that by 4x%5E3. Now the result of that, which is called the quotient, they want you to multiply by x%5E2%2B7x-2}
:
so first off lets find that quotient:
:

:
so 4x%5E2%2B2x%2B6is what we need to multiply with x%5E2%2B7x-2
:
%284x%5E2%2B2x%2B6%29%28x%5E2%2B7x-2%29
:
4x%5E4%2B28x%5E3-8x%5E2%2B2x%5E3%2B14x%5E2-4x%2B6x%5E2%2B42x-12
:
now combine like terms
:
4x%5E4%2B30x%5E3%2B12x%5E2%2B38x-12

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Find the product of (x^2+7x-2 with the quotient of (16x^5+8x^4+24x^3)divided by
4x^3
----------------------
(x^2+7x-2) * [(16x^5+8x^4+24x^3)/(4x^3)]
= (x^2+7x-2) * [4x^2+2x+6]
= 4x^4 + 2x^3 + 6x^2 + 28x^3 + 14x^2 + 42x - 8x^2 -4x -12
= 4x^4 + 30x^3 + 6x^2 + 12x^2 -4x -12
