Question 179756: How do you measure a base triangle? I'm helping my son and I've forgotten some steps. Triangle MNP (acute Isosceles) is shown on a protractor, where angle M (base angle) measures 70 degrees. How do I find out the measure of angle N (base angle)? Answer by solver91311(24713) (Show Source):
If the triangle is isoceles, then the two base angles are equal because that's what isoceles means. The third angle is 180 degrees minus the sum of the two equal angles.
