Question 179756: How do you measure a base triangle? I'm helping my son and I've forgotten some steps. Triangle MNP (acute Isosceles) is shown on a protractor, where angle M (base angle) measures 70 degrees. How do I find out the measure of angle N (base angle)?

You can put this solution on YOUR website!

If the triangle is isoceles, then the two base angles are equal because that's what isoceles means. The third angle is 180 degrees minus the sum of the two equal angles.
