You can put this solution on YOUR website!
%282x%5E2-3x%29%2B1=0
:
2%28x%5E2-%283%2F2%29x%29%2B1=0 factored a two out of the x terms
:
2%28x%5E2-%283%2F2%29x%2B%289%2F16%29%29%2B1-%289%2F16%29=0 took coefficient in front of x term and divided by 2.(3/2)/2= 3/4. Then we square that value %283%2F4%29%5E2=9/16 which is the value you add to complete the square , but then you have to subtract it back out, outside the parenthesis to keep and equivilent equation
:
2%28x-%283%2F4%29%29%5E2%2B%287%2F16%29=0
