You can put this solution on YOUR website!
n+%2B+3%2F4
n+=+1%2F3
The least common multiple is 3%2A4+=+12
If you have a computer, helpwithfractions.com is good
You can multiply the top and bottom of any fraction
by the same number without changing the fraction
n+=+1%2F3
n+=+%284%2F4%29%2A%281%2F3%29
n+=+4%2F12
This is the same as
n+=+1%2A%281%2F3%29 and doesn't change the fraction
Also, 3%2F4+=+%283%2F3%29%2A%283%2F4%29
3%2F4+=+9%2F12 again, I have not changed the fraction
n+%2B+3%2F4+=+n+%2B+9%2F12
and I already determined
n+=+4%2F12
4%2F12+%2B+9%2F12+=+13%2F12 or 1 1/12 answer
----------------------------
And n = 1 3/4
Note that 1+=+4%2F4, so I can rewrite it as
1 3/4 = 4%2F4+%2B+3%2F4+=+7%2F4
n+%2B+3%2F4+=+7%2F4+%2B+3%2F4
7%2F4+%2B+3%2F4+=+10%2F4, or 2 1/2 answer
I hope this helps you to proceed
