-4x=26 Add -5x+11 to each side.
x=26/-4
=-6.5

x-11=5x+15
:
-11=4x+15....subtracted x from both sides
:
4x=-26.......subtracted 15 from both sides
:
x=-26/4=highlight%28-13%2F2%29.....divide both sides by 4 to isolate the variable x
