: I'm working on a problem and it says find one factor of the polynomial...the problem is 8z^3+1
I got the answer (2x+1)(4z^2=2z+1) Is this correct?
The answer choices are: 2z^2+2z+1 2z^2-4z+1 4z^2+4z+1 4z^2-2z+1
I think its the last choice but i'm just not sure

8z^3+1
I got the answer (2x+1)(4z^2=2z+1) Is this correct?
-------------------
almost
You need -2z as the 2nd term because:
(a^3+b^3) = (a+b)(a^2 - ab + b^2)
