: I need assistance with this problem.
Simplify the expression and identify values for which the expression is undefined......
+%28%282%2Fy%29-1%29%2F%28%283%2Fx%29%2B1%29+

I think that the undefined values for x are -3 and 0 and for y is 0 since those values would cause a denominator to become 0.
Please confirm my logic and help with simplifying. THANKS

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Simplify the expression and identify values for which the expression is undefined......
((2/y)-1)/((3/x)+1)

I think that the undefined values for x are -3 and 0 and for y is 0 since those values would cause a denominator to become 0.
----------
The undefined value for x is 0; the undefined value for y is 0.
-------------------
Simplifying:
= [(2-y)/y] / [(3+x)/x]
Invert the denominator and multiply to get:
[(2-y)/y] * [x/(3+x)]
= [x(2-y)]/[y(3+x)]
