"As you fold a sheet of paper the number of folds increase by one, but the number of sections doubles. Folds= 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, etc.
Sections=2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, etc.
What pattern do you notice? Can you state this rule?" Thanks!

I see the pattern. Hmmm...

no. of sections=2^{no. of folds}
Sections=2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64=2¹, 2², 2³, 2⁴, 2⁵, 2⁶
Am I right?
