can you explain me the process of how this ended up given (25/28)d + 9 = d
I have the following
d/6+d/12+d/7+5+d/2+4=d I do get where the 9 comes from, but i tried to add that up by using LCD and it did not give 25/28.
Please can you explain me the process...

After a little research we can see that lowest common denominator is 84
multiply each term in the equation by 84 and you have
14d + 7d + 12d + 84(5) + 42d + 84(4) = 84d
:
14d + 7d + 12d + 420 + 42d + 336 = 84d
combine like terms
75d + 756 = 84d
:
75d - 84d = -756
:
-9d = -756
d = %28-756%29%2F%28-9%29
d = +84
