graph the solution for: 5x =<20

You can never directly graph the solution for an inequality.
You must first graph the solution for its boundary which is
always an equality.
---------------
Graph 5x = 20 or x = 4 as a vertical line passing thru all points where x = 4.
Shade the half-plane to the left of x = 4 as the graph of the inequality x<4.

I am assuming the underline _ is suppose to be an = sign and I will do this problem based on that assumption.
:
5x%3C=20given
:
x%3C=4divided both sides by 5
:
plot the vertical line x=4 which is parallel to the y axis and 4 units to its right. Then plot points at either side to see what works as a solution. everything to the left of a solid vertical line will fit the solution
