You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Remember, 1 ft = 12 inches

So 48 ft = 576 inches (just multiply both sides by 48)

We have the ratio

18:576

If we divide each value by the GCF 18, we get

1:32

So the scale of the model is 1:32. This means that each dimension of the house is 32 times longer.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
18 inches is 1 1/2 ft = 3/2 ft
So the scale is 3/2 to 48 or 3 to 96
