Question 174627: Hello. i need help answering a question from this table :

Calories Burned During Exercise (150-lb person exercising for 60 minutes)
Exercise :	                              Calories :
Dancing =                                       250 calories
Biking, walking (3-5 miles per hour) = 300 calories
Soccer, jogging (4-5 miles per hour) = 400 calories
Swimming, skiing) = 	                        500 calories
Running (5-7 miles per hour )= 650 calories

the questions are:
1) Write and solve a proportion to find how many calories you would burn if you performed one activity in the table for 60 minutes.
2) Write and solve a proportion to find how many calories you would burn if you did the activity for 60 minutes three times a week.

You can put this solution on YOUR website! Calories Burned During Exercise (150-lb person exercising for 60 minutes)
Exercise : Calories :
Dancing = 250 calories

-----
The answers will depend on your weight.
Let's assume your weight is x lbs.
Let's also assume your chosen exercise is walking 3-5 mph.
Proportion:
calories/300 = x/150
---
Put your weight in for "x", then solve the proportion of "calories".
