Multiply thru numerator and denominator by p^2:
= [1+11/p+30/p^2] / [1+7/p+10/p^2]
= [p^2+11p+30] / [p^2+7p+10]
Factor where you can:
= [(x+5)(x+6)] / [(x+2)(x+5)]
Cancel the common (x+5) factors to get:
= (x+6)/(x+2)
