What you need to do is factor the term 39 such that the sum, in this case as each of the second & third terms are both plus, of the factors that add up to 16.
Factors are:
1 & 39 sum=40
3 & 13 sum=16 thus you have the 2 terms you need:
(z+3)(z+13)
