You can put this solution on YOUR website!
2x-7y=2
3x+y=-20
-----------
Multiply 1st by 3 and 2nd by 2 to get:
6x - 21y = 6
6x + 2y = -40
--------------------
Subtract 1st from 2nd to get:
23y = -46
y = -2
----------
Substitute into 3x+y=-20 to solve for "x":
3x -2 = -20
3x = -18
x = -6
