distance = (rate)(mph)
715=(rate)(2 hours)A car traveled 715 km in 2 hours
715/2=[(rate)(2 hours)]/2 Solve for the "rate"
357.5mph = rate

You would divide 715 by 2 (since it was two hours) to get how many MPH
so 715/2=357.5
